Location & Shipping
This vehicle is in Japan at the moment and if you would like to buy it, we can have it shipped in the next available boat. Depending on several factors, it could take anywhere from around 3 to 6 weeks and sometimes more, to get a shipment booking. Then it takes about 22 days for the ship to arrive in Jamaica. But the space availability on "Seaboard Sun" is a bit unpredictable and sometimes it brings the vehicle the very week it arrives in Jamaica and sometimes it takes weeks and weeks for them to bring the vehicle to Cayman.
Vehicle Condition
Upon careful inspection of all the images and data available for this vehicle, it appears to be in excellent condition. Yet, it may have some minor signs of normal wear and tear that we cannot see in the images. But, all or most of these could be easily fixed, repaired, made to disappear or buffed out. If there is any kind of damage to the body that is visible right away and if you tell me - "I can't drive this vehicle with that thing there" - then I will fix it for you, if it can be done.
Payments
You will pay around 35-38% now to purchase the vehicle and have it shipped. Then another 35-38% one month after the vehicle is shipped. And then around 15-20% when we submit the documents for the customs clearance and the balance after you receive the vehicle. We will give you the breakdown of the payments at the time of purchase.
Warranty
Many used vehicles that we import were sold by their Japanese owners simply because the vehicle had some serious mechanical problems or they had an accident with it and they did not want to spend any money on it and just wanted to get rid of it. And many or most of the used vehicles will have at least few little issues and problems here and there and sometimes more than few.We will perform a thorough inspection on the vehicle and change the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, the a/c filter and any other parts the vehicle may need. And we will fix any mechanical problem or problems the vehicle may have. No matter whether it cost few hundred dollars or several thousand dollars. If the tires fail the government inspection, we will put in new tires. If the battery is dead, we will put in a live one. We may or may not be able to fix any non-critical issues or issues not connected to safe operation of the vehicle or something that is difficult or impossible to fix.
Service
We will thoroughly clean the engine, the interior and the exterior of the vehicle. We will also take care of the car Insurance (if you want us to), airbag recall certification (only for certain models of certain years), government inspection for road-worthiness, licensing, registration and everything else. (Cost of Insurance and Licensing not included in the price. That will cost about CI$1200-1300.)
About Us
We have been in business for 23 years and have sold more than 1500 vehicles on the Island. If you are not happy with your vehicle when you receive it or if you don't like me, you don't have to pay me the fourth and the last installment.
Vehicle Status
This vehicle was reserved for Mrs. Roberta Wilson from Cayman Humane Society on 23rd February.
